Redtail Hawk Split

The Redtail Hawk split has made this season phenomenal. With the wide footprint and Kohla skins, the board performs amazing in all conditions. Powder. Ice. Doesn't matter. Your feet stay in place on the climb up for that awesome ride down. Whether it's crisp groomer or powder, this board makes every climb and every day great. Extremely happy with my decision to go with Elevated for my first split!

The backcountry surfboard!!

After riding in resort with the Minni fish and the Step-up I just wanted a Eleveted splitboard to have the same joy but anywhere I wanted to go. The shortness of the board allows very easy kick turns and extremly easy & fun tree lines. Still very stable on high speed runs. The widthness gives the perfect flotability for those powder days!! Good on spining and jumping too! Definetly the board I needed to make the surfing style turns I like in the backcountry. Thanks for making it possible!!

Light & Fast Uphill, Soulful & Responsive Downhill

Big fan of the shaping and components on this board. It's shorter wider shape makes it an absolute burner on the skin up. It is extremely maneuverable in kick turns and super light making it easy to manage and almost feeling like an oversized snowshoe on the way up. The clips and hooks on it are very secure and easy to use in transition. On the ride down it performs as well as any board I've ever been on, helping link soulful turns while empowering you to tackle any techy-er sections of the decent with confidence in the boards sturdy responsiveness when the turns become serious. Up in the PNW we like it steep and deep, after breezing up the skin track effortlessly breaking trail in deep snow thanks to the early rise in the nose and set back stance it navigates tight spots with ease chasing your friends before the going opens into a euphoric open field where you really get to experience the magic in this board and hoot and holler as you lay down some sweet wide sweeping pow sprays before making it to the bottom to turn around and go back up for one last run before you have to go in to work. Eh, who cares if you're 15 minutes late? We're all ski bums anyway, right?

Earned and burned

The RTH split is an ideal vessel for maximum float through minimal effort. Short running length and increased width keeps you from postholing in the deep stuff and makes kickturning a breeze. The Phantom hooks keep the board nice and tight. They have a great positive interface which reduces lateral play and keeps the board snappy and responsive. No spongy/noisy clips rattling around!
The RTH split is equally at home in low angle tree glades as it is on technical steeps. It really shines in open terrain, where you can play the wide, swooping turns taken from it’s namesake. It is quite stable at high speeds and will still hold an edge in the hairiest chop and chunder. Make no mistake, this board is a performer, and it will reward an experienced rider in spades.
The Redtail Hawk split is a must have for anyone with a backcountry quiver.
