LOG JAMMIN’!

35 years of snowboarding and this board became an instant favorite in one day of fresh! I love how wide the board is for my size 13 boots and how effortlessly it floats and turns because of the bindings being set further back. The best most accurate thing I can tell anyone thinking about buying this board is… “PURE FUN!” Thanks to Elevated for making this beast!🤙🏼

Super fun quiver board

“Unsinkable” is tossed around on a lot of board reviews but this one deserves it. Sometimes hard to tell how deep the snow was with this huge nose floating you to the top. I would echo the other reviews about this board being surprisingly maneuverable for its size. Not an everyday ride to be sure, but a super fun addition to the quiver that has a very different ride and unbelievable float!

The King of Cool

I went up to Mammoth for 3 days of gorgeous Spring Boarding with a mission... test drive the Red Tail Hawk and the Mega Fish. When I arrived, the RTH was available, but the Mega Fish wasn't available till day three. No worries, I was really focused on the RTH, but on the way out just for fun I grabbed THE LOG. I'm a big guy (6'4' 220 Sz 13 Boot) and I couldn't resist trying a 5'10"
I spent the morning on the RTH, and it lives up to the hype. All the reviews are accurate.
And then, just for fun, once the snow was slushy soft, I swapped it for THE LOG All I can say is WOW.
Right off the bat, everyone in the lift line was making comments... its a head turner... and all the lift operators knew exactly what I was riding and gave me all kinds of props. No pressure 😬 From the very first run, I was shocked how nimble the board was. The board was inspired by a Single Fin Lonegboard, and sure enough you can do San'O turns all day. I lucked into a freshly groomed Race Course and couldn't believe how well it carved and held an edge. I was riding +36 front and +12 back The next day, I got on THE LOG about and hour earlier, and with the same result.(SO FUN!)
Day 3 I rode the Mega Fish and it was epic. Hype is real.
But what intrigues me is... THE LOG is suppose to be a POW BOARD. Thats what its for, right? Thats what all the rave reviews tested it in, right? Well, I will be finding out. Life's too short to not have a LOG in your life.
This board is a one of a kind good time.

One of a kind

If you are looking for something different, here it is. This board is unmatched on a clean powder face, the amount of float you get just makes you feel like a damn boat. Also great for long and deep carving and even surprisingly maneuverable because of the set back binding, while you have to be mindful of the nose, the tail is easy to whip around if you do encounter a more difficult face. Expect to get a lot of complements if you ride this board.

That low angle pow no one else can ride is now all yours

I’m in love with the log. The first surprise from this board was that it managed getting to and from stashes with grace and style that I did not expect. Obviously the Log has unmatched float in deep/low angle snow but the real pleasure is how it allows you to ride said snow. Even at the lowest speeds the log allows you to make amazing surfy turns when even the Megafish just wants to go straight. I was also blown away by how it handled slightly steeper and higher speed turns, I anticipated only riding it on low angle terrain but if the snow is untracked it’s amazing fun on terrain you wouldn’t expect. If you want to ride the low angle snow that no one else will touch in fear of getting VERY stuck while making turns all the way down this is the board for you, and I think you’ll be surprised at how well it handles terrain you might not anticipate. Jump on the log and unlock your inner soul surfer!
