Each shape has been translated from a particular surfboard - our quiver aims at facilitating a variety of riding styles in accordance with terrain and conditions.
It's not just an interesting shape, this is a tool based in the form and function of artisanal high performance.
A culmination of 50+ years of snow sliding design exploration with a specific approach to inscribing precision lines upon mountain slopes through a surfer's perspective.
In order to emulate the function of a variety of fin setups to simulate an array of turn shapes to fit the designated pocket.
Goldfish (Twin)
R 28’ - Even arcing radial turn tapered to initiate off the front foot.
RedTail Hawk (Quad)
R 30’|20’ - long swooping drive and sharp adjustments off the tail.
Tapered to initiate off the front foot.
Trimline Series (Thruster)
R 45’|20’, R 47'|21'- fast drive down the line with tight cutbacks.
Reverse tapered.
All our shapes are designed to have more surface area under foot to prevent toe/heal drag when carving.
The extra width is integrated with the other dynamics of the board to keep it quick and agile.
GF and RTH utilize a subtle convexity all the way through the base to ease transition from edge to edge
Taper
Wider nose than tail increases float in deep powder without need for excessive length- initiates turns with front lean
Reverse Taper
Narrower nose shaves off grind while charging down the line and initiates the turn off the rear
Camber
Provides suspension and pump.
Flat
Blends board shape to match turn shape.
Early Rise Rocker
Keeps the nose continuously rising above the snow
Progressive tuning softens the edge in the nose to decrease catchiness up front and gradually sharpens down the middle to hold carves, negative in the tail allows for slash slip until its put up on edge where it bites with a vengeance to prevent washout.
Fish
A long edge with minimal surface area acts like a fork through soup and sieves snow to drop tail in pow and allow for rapid turns.
Diamond
Long edge full tail is supportive for launch and landing- angle provides pivot for turns.
Squash
A short blunt kick tail for manuals.
Wing Pin
A full rail with supportive rockered tail without excess surface area.
