Last year, we wrote about the need formore frozen wave parks. This year, we are teaming up with Kona Big Wave and Mountain High Resort to make the dream of creating more waves of snow at 7,000 ft above sea level a reality!
Elevated Surf Craft has been attending frozen wave events and designing Frozen Wave Parks for years. As wave features are becoming more desired by riders across North America, we see this season as the perfect time to transition into a new era and support the snowsurf style of riding with terrain designed to inspire flow.
This flow style terrain park will be formed with long transitions banks of Left and Right waves for snowboarders to drop in, carve deep bottom turns, pump down the line, slash the lip and/or draw sweeping cutbacks… and maybe even get barreled!
At the core of the Elevated x Kona partnership, we collaborated with Kona and local artist @kook.grin to create a new board that will be used in activations, online contests, sweepstakes, demos and more. Free snowboard demos will be available to registered riders along with a discount on lift tickets on March 24 & 30.
Snowsurf Expression Sessions
In addition to the wave park and snowsurf board collaborations, Elevated is hosting expression sessions for registered riders. This is not a competitive contest with divisions and judging, but rather a fun event showcasing surfstyle and performance where riders will elevate each other collectively and standout performers will receive prizes.
Aloha Hour
In addition to Spreading Liquid Aloha— Kona Big Wave beer will be supporting the activation with prizes created in collaboration with Elevated SurfCraft. Their Island Style Lager can be enjoyed by those 21+ at the end of the day while listing to San Diego Band Half Hour Late — vibes are forecasted to be high.

About the Resort: Mountain High is known for its beachy vibe and soft slushy snow in the spring — a mere hour and a bit away and above the beach in LA, this resort is the home mountain for many so cal surfers.

HOW (to join the expression session March 24 & 30):
The Frozen Wave will be open to all, but we encourage you to register and check in as the first 25 riders will get to demo a board for free, get 50% off on their lift ticket and more.
